How To Apply for the MMUP/UPDA engineers exam in Qatar (Registration) ,QATAR

 UPDA stand for urban planning and development authority and it comes under ministry of municipality and urban planning , currently named as MME ministry of municipality and environment. now i will tell how to apply step by step UPDA exam for an engineer in Qatar baladiya.   

Please make sure you check on below list for requirement for UPDA process.

1. must be a Qatari valid residence permit in the Qatar state
2. must be a bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent from a university or institute.
3. must be have good track record and reputation 
4. to pass the tests of technical UPDA in the field of specialization , according to the conditions and control established by decision on the recommendation of the committee.   

How to Apply  for UPDA/MMUP

1- Hukoomi account

first you must open a hukoomi account by using Qatar id and mobile number with other details.

for an hukoomi account ,please go this site

http://portal.www.gov.qa/wps/portal 

click register and enter step by step as per requirement. 

2-University and Certificate

First of all you have to check weather your university or institution is already listed in MMUP/MME list of approved university or institution .if not you need to visit the MMUP/MME/UPDA office and inform them.

which is located the area of Bin Dirham - alhandasah street, Doha municipality Building .

Required Documents: 

1. valid Qatar ID
2. Degree certificate (attested from home country and Qatar. 
3. over all marksheet / consolidated marksheet ( or attested marksheet of each semester)
4. now also it mandatory Transcript with attested from same no. 2 point.
5. passport copy
6. CV
7. passport size photo
8. work experience certificate ( optional)
9. training certificate (optional)
10. PCC Qatar (Police clearance certificate )

3- Attestation 

All certificate must be attested by competent  authorities in home country and by MOFA ministry of foreign affair Qatar.

note attestation Degree by MOFA need a Bonafied Letter from college /institution /university.

Follow the rule for experience certificate 

• Experience within the Qatar ( please see that you submit experience certificate with attestation prior to year 2014.UPDA is not accepting experience certificate after 2014. if you were working in Qatar with out UPDA license.     
• previous experience certificate outside of Qatar shall be attest from home country of relevant authorities and MOFA in Qatar.
• previous experience from Qatar (if you are were working in Qatar for more than one company shall be attested from chamber of commerce -- Qatar and finally to be attested by MOFA.
• Rest of Qatar experience is considerable if it is attested   
• for current company and employee ID number is sufficient .

    Follow the Step  for PCC (police clearance Certificate)

• police clearance certificate from home country .(you need to get police clearance certificate from home country. you can visit your country embassy in Qatar they will provide you after their investigation on you. also it should be attest by the ministry of foreign affairs to procced for next step.  
• police clearance from Qatar Cid ( for the Qatar PCC you need to do personally .to get PCC go to Qatar CID office  which is located in salwa road .)

4- Upload Your Documents

• Valid Qatar ID
• Engineering Degree certificate (duly attested ) pdf
• consolidated marksheet or Transcript attested) pdf
• Photo (JPEG) white and blue back ground 
• Qatar  PCC pdf
• passport  pdf including stamp page in single page 
• CV pdf 
• work experience certificate (with proper  attestation)
• training certificate 

Note : kindly give name on each file like Degree certificate ,transcript and XYZ Etc.....

• now finally you have to login baladiya.gov.in  website using Huloomi User id and password.
• select engineer and engineering committee option  from the page and click NEW ENGINEER REGISTRATION then follow step and fill it step by step and also upload the relevant documents accordingly.
• after click the final confirmation it will generate three pages with all data also with registration number .please print that three page and keep it with you. please keep pages with you it will need to summit to baladiya office.

5- Submission Process

• after 2-3 week you will receive the SMS  from office of baladiya  to summit all original documents. you will receive SMS like below  

6- Exam Process

• after summit your original documents then same day they will review you document ant they will return to you ,if everything OK.
• After everything OK you will receive  the SMS for exam date .
• mostly you will receive you an SMS with in a month before 1 or 2 days of exam.

    your SMS will be like below

• then exam will be conducted in same Doha municipality office building .
• you have to enter baladiya office before 30 min exam.
• the exam pattern will be objective including  25 or 27 objective question.
• exam duration is 1 hours.
• after finishing the exam ,go outside and wait in rest area.
• after few minutes result will out.
• if you pass the exam ,they will tell you to wait for few minutes to issue you license. 
• if you fail the exam they tell you to take another exam date.
